You are a Missionary Cleverly Disguised

How to Share Your Faith No Matter Your Circumstances

“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned to me by the Lord Jesus” -Acts 20:24

No matter your stage in life, God is calling you to be a missionary for Him.

Typically, when people think of missionaries, they think of people going overseas to spread the Gospel. While that is good, and definitely something God may be calling you to, it’s not everyone’s story.

However, if God is not calling you to go overseas, you are not off the hook. God is calling you to be a missionary in every part of your life. No matter your age, profession or location.

God has placed you in your school, friend group, job and city on purpose. You are a missionary cleverly disguised as a student, friend, brother, sister, co-worker, etc. You have been given certain skills and have had specific people placed in your life for a reason. How are you going to use your skill set to make a difference for God’s Kingdom?

So what does being a cleverly disguised missionary look like? It looks like choosing words that reflect your faith instead of gossip. It looks like strategically placing yourself in situations to have Gospel conversations. It looks like reflecting Christ in all of your actions, and treating everyone you interact with God’s love.

What does this look like in your life, and what are you going to do about it? Are you praying daily that God would provide you with opportunities to share His love? What will it take for you to share life-changing news with the people you interact with every day? Staying comfortable is not an option.
