So a few weeks ago, I wrote a post called, ‘God is So Cool’. (Shameless plug to go read it here if you haven’t yet!)
However, everyday I am reminded of little things that assure me that this life is no accident.
This week’s blog is going to be a little different. I’m just going to touch on a few little reminders of God’s beauty that I hope remind you how great and big our God is. So if you’re like me, and love to remember the intricacy of God, then read on for part two!
Have you ever just sat for a second and thought about how God created the human body with such detail? I mean humans can literally grow another human inside them! The very creation of life itself is a miracle. There are so many basic human functions that I feel are overlooked, when they are really something to marvel at.
Right now, you are breathing and your heart is beating at the exact right speed to keep you alive. He created a need for hunger, thirst and sleep, and our body notifies us when we need to fulfill one of them. We are functioning completely by the grace of God. How beautiful is that?
Something that I really find fascinating is the heights of space and the depths of the sea. Have you ever really thought about that? There is a whole world above and below us that most of have never even explored. There are planets out there even bigger than earth, and the ocean goes down so far that there isn’t even light at some points.
And I mean the Northern Lights… how freaking cool is that? Our God made that.
So you might be wondering how this post affects you.
The God who created all of this is inside of you. With Him, there’s nothing you can’t do.
As you go through the day-to-day, take some time to notice how cool God is. No matter how big or small it seems, God is alive and working in the world. If it helps you, start a journal and jot these things down and take time to reflect. Let me know how you guys like to remember the beauty of God!
